EFKE 50 roll & Lrg-Frmt- Ei: 20~50 iso
DEV-2 NORMAL dr5 ISO: 50

Exceptional image quality - normally, and what used to be our personal favorite efke film. An old fashioned looking film quality. Efke-50 has the highest contrast of the normal efke film types in dr5, about and close to a #3 grade. E50 produces a yellow-brown in developer-2.

This film holds detail in the highlights even with the higher contrast and has a wider visual dynamic range [deeper blacks-dmax]. It is sharper than Pan-F in dr5. Normal DMAX for efke-50 is 3.40. EFKE & ADOX branded films are the same. They both come from the same plant.

NOTE: dr5 processed DEV2 has been proven to be impervious to environmental damage. DEV2 is "completely archival"

NOTE: The 120-film will fog easily. We advise special care. Treat it as you would any high speed film. Use a container or foil to cover the 120 rolls after it has been shot. The 35mm, 120 and large format films all are the same and produce the same results. The EFKE plant is one of the oldest film coating plants still producing film.

ALSO NOTE: ALL EFKE/ADOX films vary from emulsion to emulsion. Though we like these films best for dr5, & test them when possible, we find the emulsion-changes can vary as much as 20%. We would highly suggest if you want to use EFKE film - NEG or dr5, test a 'roll/sheets' of purchased stock [10~50 rolls] before doing serious shooting. Testing your stock, old or new, will insure correct exposure.
